Bombay’s story has been a love affair of the land and the sea. There’s nothing quite like a fragrance to transport you to another time.. a time when Bombay was a group of seven islands and the first meeting of the rain laden clouds touching the land, filling the atmosphere with a mild perfume… to the time when Bombay transformed as the “Urbs Prima in Indis”, and yet the surging and the lashing sea continued to touch the shores with a hazy mist of saltwater spray, mingling with the air, creating a distinct and unique smell, the smell which resonates with the city.
